Martha was raised in the pockets of Southern California known as Northeast Los Angeles and La Crescenta by hard working parents who migrated from Mexico in search of a better life.

Since her elementary school days and inspired by her parents and equal rights movements that she read about in books, she knew that her individual calling was to help others.

Martha has been many things in the workforce, but working at Rivers Law is her favorite place to support others. As a mother and perpetual student she truly believes that every child has the right to a good education.

When Martha is not at work she enjoys reading and time with her family skateboarding, camping, playing with their new dog, Miso.
