Surisa Rivers started practicing special education law in 2004. Her mission is to help as many students with disabilities as possible to fully access and enjoy their education.

Surisa has worked for the majority of her career as a lawyer devoted to advancing the educational rights of students with disabilities.

With a strong background in public interest law, Surisa started her own law practice at the beginning of 2013. Since then, Surisa has successfully represented hundreds of students with disabilities within Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange Counties.

Surisa is filled with deep appreciation each day she is able to work on behalf of students with disabilities and their families. The dedication and efforts of the parents she has met over the years inspire her to work harder and more creatively with each passing year to bring about the needed services and educational environment for the development, growth and happiness of their children.

Surisa spends most of her free time playing with and raising her two beautiful daughters, Gracie and Payton, along with her supportive and encouraging husband, Armand.
